We are pleased to announce that Lia Cosco and Paul Kwon have been elected as members of the Staff Pension Plan (SPP) Board in the recent election. Both Lia and Paul will be joining the Board for their first terms of office from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2024. We would like to thank the candidates who participated in this election as well as members who cast their votes. The percentage of eligible voters who cast their votes was 6.1%.
The terms of SPP Board membership for Alan Marchant, Michal Jaworski and Mike Leslie will end on December 31, 2020. Alan and Michal have been elected members of the SPP Board for 20 years and 4 years respectively. Mike was appointed in 2013 and has served two four-year terms with the SPP Board. The SPP Board and UBC Pension Administration Office management and staff would like to thank Alan, Michal, and Mike for their contributions and time dedicated to the SPP and its members.
