We are pleased to announce that Alan Marchant and Michal Jaworski have been elected as members of the SPP Board in the recent election. Alan has served 16 years on the Pension Board and Michal is a new Board member. Their terms of office are from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2020. We thank the candidates and Plan members who cast their ballots in this election.
The UBC Board of Governors has reappointed Mike Leslie to a second term as an SPP Board member and his new term is from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2020. We would like to thank Mike for continuing his service on the SPP Board.
Dave Lance’s last term on the SPP Board was completed on December 31, 2016. Dave was first appointed to the SPP Board in 2008 and then was elected in 2013 for a four-year term. The SPP Board and Pension Administration Office management and staff would like to thank Dave for his nine years of service and time dedicated to the SPP and its members.
