An election and by-election are now underway for members to join the UBC Staff Pension Plan (SPP) Board. All Plan members are encouraged to vote.
- The election is for TWO members to serve a four-year term from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026.
- The by-election is for ONE member to serve a two-year term from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024. The by-election is to replace a Board member who is resigning from their position at the end of 2022.

The SPP Board has the responsibility of recommending Plan policy and procedure improvements to the University, including the Plan’s investment asset mix. As a Plan member, you have an opportunity to determine who will sit on the SPP Board and represent the interests of Plan members.
