An election process will be held for three members of the UBC Staff Pension Plan (SPP) Board, to be elected by and from the SPP membership, to serve either two- or four-year terms beginning January 1, 2025. The terms of Michael Guimond (elected in 2023), Paul Kwon (elected in 2021) and Graham McIntosh (appointed in 2023 following a resignation) will end on December 31, 2024. UBC Elections will conduct the Election and By-Election on behalf of the Plan.
Call for Nominations forms will be sent to SPP members on September 4, 2024 and the nomination process will close on October 3, 2024. If you wish to nominate someone or be nominated for the Election and/or By-Election, please complete the requirements as outlined on the nomination forms.

Completed forms and required candidate statements must be received by UBC Elections by 4:00 pm on October 3, 2024. All documents must be submitted electronically. If you have questions about the completion or submission of nomination packages, please contact UBC Elections at elections.information@ubc.ca.
Should an Election and/or By-Election prove necessary, election packages will be sent to all Plan members by email or mail on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
