We are pleased to announce that Christie Stephenson and Shannon Dunn have been elected as members of the SPP Board in the recent election. Both Christie and Shannon joined the Board for their first terms of office from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022. We would like to thank the candidates who participated in this election as well as members who cast their votes. The percentage of eligible voters who cast their votes was 10.1%.
The UBC Board of Governors has appointed the UBC Treasurer, Yale Loh, to the SPP Board for a four-year term to December 31, 2022.
Peter Smailes, Brian Evans, and Karen Ranalletta’s terms on the SPP Board ended on December 31, 2018. Peter served as an appointed Board member for seven years. Brian and Karen served as elected members of the Board for 27 years and four years respectively.
The SPP Board and UBC Pension Administration Office management and staff would like to thank Peter, Brian, and Karen for their contributions and time dedicated to the SPP and its members.
