UBC Staff Pension Plan pensioners will receive a 3.25% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) to their pension effective January 1, 2023. This adjustment is based on 50% of the change in the Consumer Price Index. Details regarding how indexing is determined may be read in the 2022 SPP Pensioner Newsletter and on the COLA page. Pensioners who retired in 2022 will receive a prorated COLA increase.
Northern Trust Company Canada will mail your T4A slips, for income tax purposes, by the end of February 2023. If you have not received your T4A slips by mid-March 2023, please contact the SPP Member Services team for a copy.
