The UBC Board of Governors has reappointed Barry Gros to his second term as the Independent Chair of the SPP Board. They have also appointed Joanna Carson to the SPP Board. Their terms are from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021. We would like to thank Barry for continuing his service on the SPP Board, and welcome Joanna to the SPP Board.
Jay Parker’s last term on the SPP Board was completed on December 31, 2017. Jay was first appointed to the SPP Board in 1997. Jay was also the Executive Director of the SPP until his retirement from UBC in 2015. The SPP Board and Pension Administration Office management and staff would like to thank Jay for his 20 years of service and time dedicated to the SPP and its members.
